Sanitary Authorities

Depending on where your home is located in the Township, you may have a septic tank located on your property or be part of one of three different sanitary sewer authorities. If you are unsure of where your sewer lines are connected, please call the Township office to determine the proper authority.

Jordan Tax Service, located in McMurray, Pennsylvania is contracted to do quarterly billing for ALCOSAN charges. Payments may be mailed directly to Jordan Tax Service or at the drop-off box located in the Avalon Borough Administration Office located at 640 California Avenue in Avalon. The Avalon Borough Office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. For questions concerning your billings, please call Jordan Tax Service at 724-731-2322.
