About Us
Kilbuck Township
Named after the Chief of the Shannopin Indians, Kilbuck Township was once the southern part of Ohio Township. With the increased settlements of the 1850s, additional townships were created in Allegheny County and Kilbuck Township was officially established in 1869. The area’s natural resources railroad made Kilbuck an attractive place to live for the early settlers.
Today, Kilbuck’s rustic charm remains, but is conveniently located near the hustle and bustle of Pittsburgh. Residents enjoy country living with easy access to all the amenities of a big city.
